The Program
The International PDP consortium provide opportunities for teacher education students to engage in student teaching experiences at international schools that are partnering with Buffalo State. IPDP partners with four schools abroad:
Each program begins with an 8 week placement in Buffalo followed by an 8 week experience abroad. Participants work with a student teaching supervisor, meet with teachers and students, live with host families, tour communities, and delve into teaching abroad. Participants meet at Buffalo State during the semester before student teaching for travel planning, research, and cohort development. |
The Participants
As they transition through the various adventures of their teach & study abroad experience, participants share moments, visions, and thoughts through journal entries and photographs.
Read about each participant's adventures and perceptions on their individual blog pages. Share your comments, questions, and supportive words as you peruse...and stop back often! IPDP International Student Teaching is open to all Buffalo State currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate elementary, exceptional, and secondary education students who will be student teaching the corresponding semester.
Applications are accepted through the School of Education Office of the Dean. Visit the Buffalo State IPDP program page for application deadlines and information. |
